Community Bank Articles - List

Managed by the County’s largest grant maker, the Lincolnshire Community Foundation (1092328), the Community Bank builds endowment and can make grants to grassroots groups and loans to infrastructure bodies. It has up to 15 governors and associates who are competitively recruited to represent skills and interests across the whole historic County of Lincolnshire, from the Humber to the Wash.

The Grassroots Challenge

The Government has challenged us to build a £3million endowment.

Using the income derived from permanent endowment, we can make local grants, in perpetuity, to grassroots, voluntary groups.

The government incentive, through tax concessions and top-up, is to double the value of every gift - see the Sponsors page.

We aim to have a lasting effect on local communities: local giving to local people for lasting value.
