| The Lincolnshire Community Foundation has so many friends & partners, and it would be impossible to list them all here. Below is a list of a few of the organisations we work closely with, and we hope you will enjoy looking through them.
The 80 acre wood at Norton Disney received its first grant of £5,000 from the Lincolnshire Community Foundation in 2003. Since then we have enjoyed a close relationship, and seen the social enterprise grow from strength to strength.
We have been working with Red Dog for a relatively short time. Recently we worked with them on a short film shot in Hill Holt Woods which was aired at the Lincolnshire Show on June 24th '09. They are a great group of people who are working hard to make Lincolnshire stand out as an area of outstanding talent. Visit their website and learn more about them!
The Foundation and the Diocese of Lincoln manage a £400,000 pot that pays for our community eco-design consultant and is launching a construction consultancy, to promote better buildings and energy efficiency.
(World renowned Georgian botanist and philanthropist - he sposored the Cook and Bligh expeditions) - the Foundation owns and manages the Sir Joseph Banks Centre, a community building in Horncastle. Tenants are the Banks Society (archives & research), the Banks Shop (which trains up people with learning disabilities) and the "Wolds Learning Network" (up to 100 students a week).
Media Trust was set up to help charities communicate more effectively, making use of media professionals and modern marketing techniques. Some of the staff from the Foundation and its partners attended a two day "Communications Campfire" at Hill Holt Wood in April '09 which gave us all a lot to think about and some great ideas for modernising the way our organisations work.
