A chat with the co-ordinator
Lincolnshire Language Services is a local service developed by the third sector to meet increased need and lack of provision of interpretation services in Lincolnshire. We provide services in languages that reflect the local migrant population, which is now circa 10% of people living and working in our county.
We provide a pre-booked interpretation and translation service and our charges are:
Interpreting

Within office hours (Monday - Friday 08:00 - 20:00) Standard rate £24 per hour (minimum 2 hours or £48) N.B. From 1st April 2009 a £12 administration charge will be made for each Standard Rate interpreting appointment.

Evenings (after 20:00) and Saturday £36 per hour (minimum 2 hours or £72).

Sunday and short notice bookings (less than 24 hours) £48 per hour (minimum 2 hours or £96)

Bank holidays £72 per hour (minimum 2 hours or £144).

Travelling to and from the appointment will be charged at £7 per hour plus 40p per mile.
Translation

£18 per standard page (250 words) per language. Minimum charge per source document £36.

For documents that require Dpsi qualified translators £27 per standard page (250 words) per language. Minimum charge per source document £54.
The above charges are subject to VAT at the standard rate.
