Direct data around domestic abuse and violence is particularly difficult to capture due to a lack of reporting and recording, as well as the lack of hyper-local data available. To provide a dataset for LVIS that examined domestic abuse and violence we used data linked to outcomes and causation of domestic abuse, as well as examining the predeterminants of domestic abuse. We used NICE guidance backed by Women’s Aid and the Royal College of Nursing’s as well as Public Health fingertips data.
